Hi, I am Jean Ottosen. I am a fibre artist from Regina, SK, Canada. This is a blog about my work and related matters.
I have been immersed in fiber from the time I was a young child. My interest was fostered by my grandmother throughout my childhood and into my adult years.
I spent time exploring the world of painting after I graduated from the University of Alberta, and was re-introduced to fibre by Lucille Roxburgh of Calgary, Alberta when she taught me to hook in 1985. Since then I have experimented with different techniques and fibres. I have exhibited across Canada and the USA.
